Valentine’s day, 14th of February, a holiday established since the Roman’s, to celebrate love.

However, I am often puzzled to only see the young adults in love and married couples celebrating this day of love.

Some questions I often think about:

  • Is there a shortage of love in a human beings’ life? Does love only = physical attraction?
  • Why are our mindsets  set to: “I am single this Valentine’s day, so I am not doing anything special”?
  • Is valentine’s day only about red roses, chocolates and plush toys?

I hope every individual, despite their age – takes the time to acknowledge love in their lives. Love for their significant other, their child, their pet, their parents, grandparents or their neighbours.

A thing for all of us to remember, the word “love” might not hold the same meaning for everyone. Celebrate love in whichever form it exists for you!

We would like to thank you, all our readers – our family and friends and wish you all a happy valentine’s day! We Love You All !!
