Since the identification of the 1st COVID-19 case in November, 2019 in China and the declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic in March, 2020; the research scientists, big Pharma companies have been hard at work to find a vaccine to combat COVID-19.
In the United States of America, the total reported deaths have crossed 365,000 and Canada has lost over 16,000 individuals to this virus.
In Dec, 2020; U.S. Food and Drug Association (FDA) and Health Canada approved the first vaccine created by Pfizer and its partner company, BioNTech. A week after the approval of the 1st vaccine, a second vaccine created by Moderna was approved.
Worldwide, there are many other vaccines that continue to be approved after positive clinical trial results.
